Welcome to Little Seeds Children's Center, a preschool located in Alameda, California! Little Seeds Children's Center is planned, designed, and structured to provide children, ages 12 months to 5 years old with a safe, healthy, and creative environment where they can grow.

Our program is based on the philosophy that by accepting children as they are, placing them in a warm and loving atmosphere, while providing a creative learning environment, we will be able to encourage the children to attain their full potential.

Our beautifully designed facility for our little friends was created with low sinks, junior toilets, and beautiful lawn areas for crawling and rolling. All toys and climbers have been selected for your child's various developmental levels.

At Little Seeds Children's Center we are aware that children have a need to explore and discover their environment. The program will provide activities and materials that will enable the child to experience a wide range of developmental areas. Each day the children are exposed to a nurturing learning center which will stimulate their growing creative and inquiring mind.

Our learning center, administered by experienced, highly qualified teachers, includes activities with a wide range of sensory motor manipulatives such as: art, music, social skills, large and small muscle coordination, storytelling, puppets, and outside play including water play tables. Walking field trips are arranged for children over 18 months of age. We also offer a complete system of toilet training that is gentle and rewarding for your child.

A developmental progress report will be given to parents every six months to show your child's growth and development. Parent/teacher conferences will be held on an optional basis.

Since outdoor playtime has an important role in the growth and development of your child, Little Seeds Children's Center offers a large park-like play area complete with a large lawn, shade trees, and trike track. Your child will have many outside activities to choose from including water play, easel painting, and riding cars, trikes, or helicopters. They may also play in our playhouse and log cabin, or test their skills on one of the many climbing structures suited to your child's height.
